We held an open day on 23rd August 2023 to help increase awareness of our service and forge links with other services.

The invitation was open to funders, other services and anyone with an interest in finding out what we do. Some of our young women and Advisory Board members joined staff in chatting to the attendees about SAY Women, giving them some more in-depth information about each of the services we offer to survivors. It was also an opportunity for people to see the space we work in and experience the friendly atmosphere we endeavour to create for our service users.

We had a great turn-out, with over 40 people coming along on the day and many others who couldn’t make it asking for more information and arranging meetings with us. We plan to hold an open day once a year going forward. It’s a great way to increase awareness among those who don’t know us, as well as maintaining the relationships with those organisations that we already work with.
